The **Japanese University Rebellions** refers to a wave of university
occupations and student-led unrest in [Japan](Japan "wikilink") in the
[late 1960s](Revolutions_of_1967_-_1975 "wikilink"). Beginning in
[1967](Timeline_of_Libertarian_Socialism_in_Eastern_Asia "wikilink"),
the rebellions had a major impact on the Japanese left.
