The **Recovered Factories Movement** or **Fábricas recuperadas** is a
movement that emerged out of the [1990s and

[Brazil](Brazil "wikilink") and [Argentina](Argentinazo "wikilink"),
where bankrupt workplaces were taken over by their workers and run as
[self-managed](Workers'_Self-Management "wikilink") enterprises.
