The **Republic of South Sudan** is an

[capitalist](Capitalism "wikilink") [state](List_of_States "wikilink")
located in Eastern Africa bordering [Sudan](Sudan "wikilink"), the
[Central African Republic](Central_African_Republic "wikilink"),
[Democratic Republic of the
Congo](Democratic_Republic_of_the_Congo "wikilink"),
[Uganda](Uganda "wikilink"), [Kenya](Kenya "wikilink") and
[Ethiopia](Ethiopia "wikilink"). It is the newest state in the world,
having split from Sudan in 2011.
