The **Free Union** is a [federation](Confederation "wikilink") of

[anarchist](Anarchism "wikilink") and
|
|
[anarcho-syndicalist](Anarcho-Syndicalism "wikilink") groups across the
|
|
[Netherlands](Netherlands "wikilink") and [Belgium](Belgium "wikilink").
|
|
Founded in 1990, they have worked to organise migrant workers (including
|
|
illegal ones), raise funds for various causes and organise left-wing
|
|
protests.\[1\]
