LocationCentralAfrica.png This is a timeline of various political, legal, military, social, economic and environmental events that have occurred in Middle Africa that are relevant to libertarian socialism.

1900s

  • 1992: Citizens of Malawi succeed in bringing down a 30-year long dictatorship using strikes, assemblies and sabotage.[1]
  • 1997: The Dead City Strike occurs in the Democratic Republic of Congo with the aim of democracy, but backfires after a new military dictatorship betrays the strikers for its own power.[2]
